Medes Islands
An essential destination for scuba diving enthusiasts
Medes Islands
42km from the hotel
Located a little over a kilometre from the coast, the Medes Islands are a small archipelago in the heart of the Costa Brava. Their proximity to the mouth of the Ter River and the Nature Park of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà make this group of seven islands and small islets one of the most important reserves of marine flora and fauna in the Western Mediterranean - a must for scuba diving enthusiasts. Boat trips are also organised from l’Estartit.
